Mercy Beyond Borders (MBB) is a non-profit organization that seeks to educate and improve the lives of women in Sudan and Haiti. Their annual reports and other print materials acknowledge MBB's growing support from donors, highlight their successful programs, and encourage future donations. Each year, the reports are designed with a new layout and color scheme, and feature an array of photos to give the reader a sense of daily life in these countries.
The Chico Artoberfest guides were annual newsprint publications that provided over 100 listings of art, dance and other cultural events during the month of October. Copies were distributed throughout the downtown restaurants, retail stores and cafes to increase tourism in Chico and neighboring cities. Print ads for Artoberfest were submitted to local magazines, and the fall leaf theme was carried throughout the print collateral each year.
These are some examples of real estate postcards and brochures that I created while working at Corefact Corporation. The direct mailing pieces used variable data and tracking technology to help agents gather leads for their marketing campaigns. We assisted clients with the creation of their unique branding, as well as providing online card templates such as sports schedules, recipes and holiday greetings.
This project consisted of redesigning the Playball magazine for the fifth season of the Chico Outlaws baseball team. They were distributed to game attendees and included player statistics, interviews, game schedules and advertisements.
Cupertino Poet Laureate logo: This program was established in Cupertino to enrich cultural and artistic expression. The helmet style pays tribute to the original city logo, while the laurel branches symbolize poetry and intellectualism.
Block Leader logo: The new logo (in red) was combined with Cupertino's existing logo to signify that it is a city program. This graphic represents the collaboration of neighborhood leaders in promoting safety and organization. The Block Leader logo was applied to future print collateral, as well as an emergency flashlight and a city event dinner plate.
Emergency Response logos: This set was created for decal purposes on Cupertino's emergency response trailer. The symbols are simple and recognizable to inform residents of the city's emergency services in case of a natural disaster.
The 50-page programs were designed for Presentation High School's annual fashion show fundraisers. A unique theme is chosen each year for the event's decor, entertainment and print collateral. The programs are distributed to every guest and provide information about the show's production and the high school, as well as various advertisements.
San Francisco Tote Bag: This SF neighborhood map was printed onto black tote bags and sold in stores along Fisherman's Wharf. The graphic illustrates major landmarks to appeal to tourists.
Balclutha logo: This T-shirt logo was designed to be a souvenir item of the Balclutha ship in San Francisco Bay. The goal was to use a simple and iconic nautical symbol for the historical reference.
The "People for the Park" and "Celebrate the Jewel" events were fundraisers by the Chico Creek Nature Center, to inform residents about Bidwell Park and celebrate the diverse geography and wildlife in the area. The CCNC also posted information in a park kiosk to highlight the park's amenities and promote the Center's presence in the community.
These posters were created for concerts and fundraising events, and were displayed in various locations around downtown Chico. The goal for the Children's Choir of Chico posters (second row) was to create bold imagery for each concert theme and convey a sense of motion and energy.
